In February of 2015, I landed an internship at Adventure Publishing, the leading publisher of magazines for the toy and licensing industries since 1983. I was brought on to create social media graphics and other visuals the company may need for online use. Four months later, I was offered a full-time position at the company, and promoted to Assistant Visual Media editor. Since then I have expanded my skills greatly. In early 2016, I was promoted to Art Director, and began providing graphics and insight of every kind. I now lay out magazine spreads, design covers, and shoot and edit one video a week for our digital media clients. I have taught myself Quark and Adobe Premiere during my time at Adventure Publishing, and I have continued to hone my skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
